Ok. My hair is about 2.5 inches and really curly. When I sweep it back it turns into a "fro". Is it too short? I am getting my senior pics tommorow, so either i straighten it or cut it extremely short (my parents are a pain at times, and I hat short hair) I am looking for a cheap straightener, preferably below $30. Any suggestions?

If youre looking for a straightner below $30 you arent going to get very far. The cheap ones dont work for crap. However, there are cheap ones like that at Target.

i think if your tired of your hair type you should try straightning it.It will probably look good so give it a shot!

I would only straighten your hair if you have already came out of the closet. If you haven't, be prepared for people to assume or ask you if you're gay.

But just go to Fred Myer and buy a straightner there, it may not make your hair as straight as you would like it though.

Go for it. If you hate it, you can just wash it, it'll stop being straight and you can shave it all off.

Um, I straighten mine all the time, people like it better that way. It's not bad for guys to straighten their hair.

And celebrities do it. You can go to wal-mart, K Mart, or target. they are pretty cheap. And when you straighten it, ask someone to do the back. just because its hard to get all of the hair if you cant see all of it.

30$ would get u a straightener @ target , but i personally think u shouldn't strighten it because girls love brushing their hands thru curly hair, just let it grow a little bit longer .good luck

I would suggest putting in some sort of pomade or soft wax, it will take out the puffy look you don't like, and give it a little shine without looking to unnatural. If your hair is only 2 1/2" long it will not look good straight. If you don't like short hair you really shouldn't cut it your, senior pictures are really important and great momentous. Good luck!
