Well, I have my hair Japanese Straightened[it wears off in 3 months] and I'm looking to make it brighter. My stylist informed me that hair dye and the chemicals used in the straightening don't work together at all. Are there any ways that I can make my hair lighter[I'm blonde] without use of hair dye? I hear that Lemon Juice can severely damage and dry out your hair, so I don't know if that would work for me. ..Or are there possible hair dyes to use while my hair has the straightening chemicals in it?

I had my hair highlighted blonde the day of getting the straigtening treatement...and it looked normal to me and everyone else. Getting color is different than highlights though, so I would listen to your stylist.

they have a hair product called marilyn i think, well anyways look for it. it makes the blonde hair brighter to a platinum. but it only works on blonde hair

sun-in. thats the name of the brand, it makes ur hair lighter but not too light; u can get it at a drugstore just aska woman who works there, its just a light spray on thing. simple.
