I have and it leaves your hair pin straight in ten minutes, but it's worse for your hair in comparrison to a flat iron. It's alot stronger and it can burn and dry out your hair alot more easily so be careful and use a keratin mist to protect your hair.

Can i use a regular iron to straighten my hair?

it can be done, and it works great. its no more harmful then a hairstraightener. but it is so much harder and cumbersome. i would reccomend just getting a real hair straightener. its easier and you are less likely to burn your hair or youself.

It's much safer to use a hair straightner than a iron!!
