I always have problems keeping my hair from frizzing up when I straighten it. What can I do make it

Pretty much what the question says. I straighten my hair but it is always frizzy and dry when I do. I've got naturally curly hair and I have a tourlamine straightener. I've tried several different hair products. I just need to know the best one I could try!

the john frieda straight ahead line is great. but honestly, the best thing u could do is buy a remington wet-to-straight straightener. it works better on my hair than a CHI, a $200 straightener, and its only about $25. i love it. and u can straighten ur hair no matter how wet or dry it is. and its got some great features- color coded for how wet ur hair is (wet is red, damp is purple, and dry is blue) and theres numbers- 1 to 30- on the level. and it beeps when its heated up all the way to the setting u have it on. and it beeps every so often when u leave it plugged in, to let u know its plugged in. i love it!!!!!!!!!

I'd suggest going down to a local barber and asking for a #2 on top and all the way around. #1 on the sides and #0 to even out the edges. Cost you about $12.

they have like straigtening spray to stop damage when you straighten wet hair but i find it good to use every time i straighten it. it makes it smoother and less frizzy. ask a salon or just look at wal-mart. they may have stuff there.

when you straighten your hair right after, spray it with a light hairspray. just make sure it wont dry out your hair. if it is heavy duty hairspray spray it from a distance. also if you have time before you straighten your hair take a round brush and blow dry your hair like that. it will get it pretty straight and smooth. then straighten it. then do the hairspray :)) hope it helps

I don't know what that kind of straightener is. However I have curly hair and I used to use a straighten on dry hair and I had the same problem. Now I use a steam straightener and I don't have any problems. However I also do hair and before steam straighteners came out I would dry the hair with a blow drier and then use an iron to straighten it. After wards I would either use an oil spray like shine stuff or I would use hair wax just a little though and work it in the hair. It didn't make the hair greasy and flattened it out more and removed the frizz. The steam straightener is so much better. I would recommend using a leave in conditioner though so that when the heat hits your hair it will dry out the artificial moisture before your own natural moisture.

KMS -flat out- It will cut out the frizz %26amp; protect from heat damage from the hot iron. Using conditioning treatments once a week and a good conditioner the rest of the week will also help repair damage. Also, getting a regular trimm is going to keep you from getting dry split ends that will end up frizzing.

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
