Then, always use a light spray on conditioner allover your hair before you heat it, this will also make it go faster, use less heat and it prepares the cuticles for their "beating" if you will. Also, another thing you can do for your hair that is VERY important is to never ever brush it when it is wet or when you are blow drying it. This is where ninety percent of breakage occurs-when the hair is wet. Blow dry only when you have to and when you have the time, use a conditioning masque on your hair and while you leave it, pop a towel into the dryer, then when it is warm wrap it around your head to let the conditioning masque work it's best while you soak in the tub with a magazine or something. A really good one to use if you don't want to splurge is Sunsilk hair mask in the hot pink tub for dry hair therapy. It is affordable and easy to find at any Walmart, Target or Drugstore. Use these tips, and you will be doing your best help prevent your hair from damage!

There is really no way to prevent split ends becuase split ends are just your hair dying you will always have split ends BUT to keep your hair from drying out or getting kinda burnt from straightning it you need to get straightning cream or spray its stuff that you put on your hair before you straighten it so your hair doesnt burn. Just go to Wal-Mart and it will be in the Hair section and thats really the only way to prevent your hair from getting dryed or burnt. And doing this will even help your split ends a little bit it keep them from drying out becuase when your split ends dry out they are even worse than before.

dont use wet (even if it is a wet to dry they still dammage alot)

dont brush when wet

and get a trim every cupple weeks

less heat and use a heat protect serum/cream. and use leave in conditioner every day, and use a strong conditioner after you shampoo everyday, use a fortifying shampoo, and deep condition every once in a while, and get regular trims

you cant..its going to do it regardless. You can straighten your hair and cut the ends as you go..thats what I do.

if u already have split ends the only way to get rid of them is to get ur hair cut .. once they are gone.. u can protect ur hair from them returning by using a heat tools styling product of ur choice .. u should never NEVER never use any heat tools on ur hair with out some kind of product in it first
