i use pantene pro v. its called always smooth, its a 3 step shampoo, conditioner, and a anti-frizz serum. it works great on my hair. i some what curly hair and it has straighten my hair allot. i spent about 15.00 dollars on it. and that's about the only thing i being using.

Not trying to be flippant but why don't you just use straighteners? You will only have to shell out once to buy them and they won't clog your hair up with product... just a thought!

straightening cream sounds like harsh chemicals... ever thougt about going easy with your hair and using Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner/styling cream. It tames frizz and makes nice waves or curls depending on your hair, without getting sticky. you can get the stuff on afrotherapy.com or in NY (u.s.) at Ricky's Beauty Supply stores.
