Hi...Okay, i recently read on the internet that a straightening gel is very damaging to hair. and so are straightening balms, and hair wax. pretty much anything that is supposed to straighten your hair. I just bought a straightening shampoo and conditioner, and a straightening balm...and a straightening cream thing. are these things really gonna damage my hair?

What brand is it? Some straightening products are great, others totally suck. If you bought yours at a salon or beauty supply store then they're probably good quality...
