Can someone please recommend a good hair straightening shampoo?

I have quite wavy hair which looks lovely when I first blow-dry it in the morning but by mid morning, it looks like a bird's nest. I have used all sorts of straightening products which don't seem to work. Someone told me about a shampoo which is excellent for straightening hair but she couldn't remember the name of it. Can someone please help!!!

Well your hair sounds very similar to mine. My straighteners died and I can't afford to replace them at the moment.

I bought some shampoo and conditioner that allow me to blow dry my hair on a fast speed and look as though I have spent ages dragging the brush through it to make it smooth and sleek. This is virtually unheard of for my hair.

There is a great Paul Mitchell shampoo and cond. Its called straight and sleek...i buy it at my hairdressers (i also use my GHD straightners tho my hairs quite frizzy but the shampoo has made it MUCH better!)

Can't remember exactly what it's called-something very obvious like 'straight and sleek' and it's by Gianni Umberto;think that's the right spelling;It works well and smells fab. Good luck.

For a permanent fix, try Boots straighten, based on the Yuko hair straightening system, its only 14.99. I tried it the other day and it works a treat, it didn't dry my hair out at all, I would definitely recommend it. Look on the website for a proper explanation. It took me and my mum 2 and a half hours to do. Good Luck!

Elvieve smooth and sleek I think its called, pink bottle. I have to use straighteners every day but if I'm going on a night out I use this shampoo and it makes my job so much easier.
