I heard that you can do that, just like a perm. If I were to do that, would the texture of my hair change at all? I love the way my hair is when I straighten it, but it's so thick and I never have time, but I would hate it if it changed the way my hair feels and everything. And how much does it usually cost?
It's possible to permanently straighten your hair, right?
its not REALLY permanent
but it stays like from 8 months to a year
its EXTREMELY good
(japanese relaxing gets your hair the straightest)
youre hair stays super staright all the time even when you naturally dry it ^_^
i did it to my hair and now i dont have to fuss with it to look nice :-D
(but be careful when your root grow out)
once you relax your hair you have to keep it straight forever
or you have to deal with your roots growing back.
it takes a long time to relax it but its worth it ^_^
it cost $400 dollars for me because my hair is sooo thick
it depends how long and thick your hair is for the price

It's possible to permanently straighten your hair, right?
No, it's actually not. There's a process that you might be talking about, but its effects vary from person to person. It lasts a long time, but sometimes it will wear off after maybe a week. And you have to get it redone after new hair has grown in. So it's not permanent.

yup! and it's probably expensive.... i don't really know cuz i've never had it done.

Yes you can get it done and I want to do something like that too. You would probaly talk to a hair person and they could tell you prices and the pros and cons of the thing. I heard that it could damage your hair but there is shampoo that can help. It usallys last 4-6 maybe longer it depends. All these questions your hair person can answer!
Good Luck!!
It's possible to permanently straighten your hair, right?
Yes you can, but it isn't PERMANENT permanent.. My sister has gotten her hair chemically straightened. It looks really nice for a while, and stays that way for about a year. I wouldn't advise you to get it done because it changes the texture of your hair. It gets all rough, and you get split ends.. ugh... it basically ruins your hair.
Uhhhmm.. my sister got it done in New York City, and for her it costed about $300? It's based on your hair length and thickness.
Hope I helped. =)
