How can I straighten my my hair?

I want to straighten my hair.

Without ruining it, and without using an iron.

Or shampoo! Lol. :]

I heard somewhere I could use an iron that you use to straighten clothes.

Like...put it under a towel,and then do it.

But I aint too sure.

To straighten with a cloth's iron I would lay a big towel down (since my hair is long) on the floor then I would lay on my back with my hair up top and put the iron as close to my head as possible and press down on the towel, all the way to the end, then I would get on my knees and put my head down on the towel again and iron it that way. It was a pain, and then sometimes my husband would help and I would just put all my hair on the ironing board. I did all that UNTIL I found out about the "CHI" look it up, its like 119.99 its the best hair straightener out there. I wouldn't waist money on the chemical way because it looks good that first day, and looks frizz the rest of the time, where as the chi you can always get rid of the frizz, and always do touch ups anytime of the day, and when your hair starts to grown out you will still have the Chi vs the chemical way being gone.

yah put ur head on top of the towel and tell someone else to brush then pass the iron through then brush again and so 4th

umm the only way to straighten hair is w/ a straightner.

get a chemicle straighten it's only dry for a couple weeks and you don't have to do it again untill new curly hair grows, but it leaves a couple bumps depending on how curly your hair is

so basically, people say a real iron ruins your hair, but its just as bad as a regular straightener. it straightens it more and faster. try letting it airdry then straightening, bc blow drying and ironing kills it. uhm, another thing.. that nobody has mentioned yet. they have flat iron mist. that you apply before you blow dry and straighten to save your hair. it makes your hair so silky. try V05. and apply shine spray or bio silk serum afterwards. trust me, you will LOVE your hair. good luckk :-)oh yeah get an extra conditioning conditioner.
